This page covers both how Meadow ("we", "us", "Meadow") handles your information (the Privacy Policy) and the rules for using the service (the Terms of Service). By creating an account or using Meadow, you agree to both.
Meadow is a curated, low-stimulation video app for young children, available on TV devices and at meadow.tv. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian.
Meadow is operated by Meadow. If you have any questions about your privacy, or want to make any of the requests described below, email us at hello@meadow.tv.
The Meadow website uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in to your account. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The TV app does not use cookies; it stores sign-in and viewing information locally on the device.
Meadow is designed to be watched by children, but it is set up and controlled entirely by a parent or guardian. Children do not log in, enter information, or interact with any account features. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The only account-holder information we hold (an email address) belongs to the adult who created the account.
We aim to comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Australian Privacy Act. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact hello@meadow.tv and we will delete it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We use a small number of trusted providers to run Meadow. Each only receives the information needed for its role:
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information except where we must keep records to meet legal or tax obligations. Temporary data like pairing codes is deleted automatically.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and limiting access to the people and providers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and will notify you and any relevant regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing hello@meadow.tv. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Australian Privacy Principles, the GDPR, or the CCPA.
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
You must be an adult (18 or older) to create a Meadow account, and you are responsible for activity that happens under it. Keep your sign-in email secure. Meadow is for personal, household use, not commercial use.
Meadow is a curated selection of publicly available children's videos, played through a third-party embedded video player. We do not own this content and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the shows, channels, or rights-holders featured. Availability can change at any time — videos may be removed or restricted by their owners or by the hosting platform, and may differ by region. We curate for a calm, low-stimulation experience but make no guarantee about the suitability of any particular video for your child; parental judgement always applies.
The Meadow name, app, website, design, and software are owned by Meadow and protected by law. You may use them only as part of normally using the service. The shows and videos belong to their respective owners; nothing here transfers any rights in that content to you.
We respect intellectual-property rights. Meadow plays publicly available content through a third-party embedded video player and does not host that content itself. If you are a rights-holder and believe content should not be featured, email hello@meadow.tv with details and we will respond promptly.
Please do not misuse the service — for example, by trying to access it without paying, sharing your account beyond your household, interfering with its operation, reverse-engineering the app, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
We work to keep Meadow running smoothly but provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and access depends on third parties (such as the embedded video provider and your internet connection) that we do not control.
You can stop using Meadow and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe are being misused.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meadow and Meadow are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law (such as the Australian Consumer Law).
We may update this page from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use Meadow after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
Questions about your privacy, your account, or these terms? Email hello@meadow.tv.
